FAQ

The basics

What is Damngoodsales?
Damngoodsales is a library of apps and tools for AI agents. Your agent connects once over MCP (Model Context Protocol). Every app you own adds its tools to that connection, so your agent can use it to improve your work.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI agents use external tools and data. Damngoodsales runs an MCP server, so any agent that supports MCP can connect to it and use its tools.
Who is Damngoodsales for?
Founders, salespeople and small teams who already work with an AI agent and want it to do real work in tools they own — not just answer questions.
What is the first app?
Damngood CRM Lite: a lightweight sales CRM your agent runs for you — leads, pipeline stages, notes and a pipeline summary.

FAQ

Buying and approvals

How do I get an app?
Two ways. Buy it on the website — choose Get $29, complete Stripe checkout and claim to your account. Or let your connected agent do it over MCP: it searches the catalog and calls acquire. Free apps unlock immediately. For paid apps you approve the payment in the browser. Nothing is charged without your approval.
Do I need an AI agent to buy?
No. You can buy apps on the website like in any store. To use an app's tools you connect an MCP-capable agent — or request the source repo and run the code your own way.
Can my agent spend money without me?
No. For paid apps your agent only receives an approval link. The purchase stays pending until you open the link, sign in and approve it. You can also decline.
What does it cost?
Each app shows its current price in the library. Free apps unlock immediately; paid apps open secure Stripe checkout for your approval.

FAQ

Agents and connection

Which AI agents work with Damngoodsales?
Agents and clients that support remote MCP servers with OAuth, such as Claude Code. Connecting opens a sign-in page where you create or use your Damngoodsales account and approve the agent.
What happens when I connect my agent?
Your agent registers with Damngoodsales and opens a sign-in page. You sign in or create an account and approve the agent. From then on the agent calls Damngoodsales tools as you.
What does my agent see before I own an app?
The store tools and the app tools. App tools stay locked until you own the app — if your agent calls one, it is told exactly how to unlock it.
Can I disconnect an agent?
Yes. In My packages you can disconnect any agent. Its tokens stop working immediately.

FAQ

Apps, data and code

Do I get the source code?
Yes, on request. Apps live natively in the Damngoodsales library and your agent uses them through the gateway. If you want to customise an app, request the GitHub repo in My packages — or let your agent request it. It is shared with your GitHub account.
Where is my data stored?
In your Damngoodsales account. App tools run as you and only read and write your own data — never another customer's.
Can I brand an app as my own?
Yes. Every product is named Damngood <X>, and your workspace sets the name, logo and colour your team sees — for example Damngood CRM Lite becomes Your Company CRM.
How is a repo delivered?
Request it in My packages, or let your agent call request_repo, with your GitHub username. During the pilot, repo access is granted manually after the request is recorded.
